ENVIRONMENT CHAMPIONS WORKSHOP
In the morning, met up with Joellen at around 6.25am. We waited for the bus but it did not come so we went to the nearby bakery to buy breakfast. We bought waffles. When we came out of the bakery 65 came. Just on time. We waited at the bus-stop outside school. But nobody came.
Around 7.10am Fattah came. So went to school to find Mrs Lee-Tan but she was not there. Than we went to the bus-stop and waited for Gajen. Later we took 135 to Paya Lebar MRT. There we waited for Gajen and Kitmun. Than we all took a train ride to Choa Chu Kang. It was super long and we all stood the whole way there.
After the train ride, we went to take a cab but there seems to be non around. First, Kitmun stopped a cab but the taxi driver does not allow 5 people and than he drove off. Later we got a cab but this driver too does not allow 5 people. He said that if he got caught no insurance claim. So Joellen, Kitmun and I took the cab while Gajen anf Fattah waited for another cab.
When we got into the cab and on our way, the driver told us he did not know where was Regent Secondary. He called someone on his phone, think is his friend and got some directions. After awhile we found Regent Secondary. The fare was around $5.40 for such a short distance.... Haiz....
We waited for Gajen and Fattah. When they arrived we went into the school and we were 45 minutes late for the workshop. First time I was this late for a workshop.... When we went in it was almost time for their tea-break. During tea break we thought of leaving half-way cause the workshop will only end at 5.30pm.
But in the end we did not. hahas... Later in the afternoon, we had to do a group presentation and cheer. I was in the Dark Green group. Met alot of very fun & friendly people in the group like Bryan, Marcus, Mable, Shu yu ( not sure of spellin), Fraker ( not sure of spellin) and many more. Our trainer Melvin was also great. He was very supportive. hahas...
At the end of the event we got a certificate for participation of the event. This was the first time I went for a 9 hours workshop. Hahas... =)
YEAH Dark Green!!!
After the whole event, went back home.
